How call minutes are counted
How Ladoo counts call minutes and website chats: which calls are free, how extra minutes are billed, and when your allowance resets.
Call minutes
Your plan includes a number of call minutes each billing period. Ladoo adds up the length of your real phone calls over the period, and rounds the total up to the next whole minute. Calls aren't rounded one by one.
These don't use call minutes:
- Spam calls your agent spots, like robocalls and sales pitches.
- Calls from blocked numbers. See Block callers and spam.
- Calls shorter than 10 seconds.
- Test calls from the dashboard. They use test minutes instead.
- Website chats. They have their own allowance.
When you go over
On paid plans, calls keep being answered after you use your included minutes. Each extra minute is billed at your plan's rate: $0.25 on Starter, $0.20 on Pro and $0.16 on Agency.
Test minutes
Test calls and chats in the dashboard use test minutes. When they run out, testing pauses until your next billing date (or, on Free, until you upgrade). Real calls aren't affected.
Website chat conversations
A conversation counts when a visitor sends their first message, however long it goes on. When you run out, the chat tells visitors it isn't available right now until your allowance resets.
Check your usage
Settings → Billing shows what you've used this period: call minutes, test calls, website chats, Build with AI messages, phone numbers and knowledge storage.

Allowances reset on your billing date each month.
Agencies
On the Agency plan, call minutes and chats are shared across all your client workspaces.
