Forward your existing business number to Ladoo

Keep your current business phone number and forward calls to your Ladoo AI receptionist: always, after hours, or only when you're busy or don't answer.

You don't need to give customers a new number. Get a Ladoo number, then have your phone company forward your existing line to it. Your callers dial the number they already know.

Forward all callsEvery call goes straight to your agent. After hours, holidays, or if the agent is your front desk.
Forward when busy or unansweredYour phone rings first. Calls you miss go to the agent.Keeping calls you can take, catching the rest.

Before you start

  1. Get a Ladoo phone number and choose the agent that answers it.
  2. Publish that agent and test it.
  3. Have your Ladoo number ready, written as a 10-digit number like 5125550147.

Mobile phones

Most US carriers turn forwarding on with a short code you dial from the phone itself. Common codes:

CarrierForward all callsTurn off
Verizon*72 + Ladoo number*73
AT&T*21* + Ladoo number + ##21#
T-Mobile**21*1 + Ladoo number + ###21#

For when busy or unanswered, carriers use different codes or a setting in your phone. On iPhone, call forwarding is under Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Forwarding (forwards all calls). Android phones usually have it under the Phone app's Settings → Calls → Call forwarding, often with separate options for busy, unanswered and unreachable.

Landlines and office phone systems

  • Landlines: many providers use *72 to turn forwarding on and *73 to turn it off. Some offer "no answer" forwarding through their online account.
  • VoIP and office systems (RingCentral, Google Voice, Zoom Phone, Grasshopper and others): look for call forwarding, call handling or after-hours routing in the admin settings, and add your Ladoo number as the destination. Many let you forward on a schedule, like after 6 PM and on weekends.

Check it works

  1. Call your business number from a different phone.
  2. Let it ring, or don't answer, depending on what you set up.
  3. Your agent should answer. The call shows up in Calls a moment later.
